Nigel Wilson, Head of Channel at AppSense Recognized as a 2010 Channel Chief by Everything Channel’s CRN

Award Recognizes AppSense’s Dedication to the Channel by Providing Innovative Lead Generation and Promotion Programs

NEW YORK - February 22 2010 - AppSense, the leading provider of user virtualization solutions for the enterprise, today announced that Nigel Wilson has been named a 2010 Channel Chief by the Everything Channel’s CRN. Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers. They consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.

After joining AppSense seven years ago, Mr. Wilson has led the growth of the channel program to include over 300 partners. In 2009 alone, average deal sizes increased by over 50 percent. In addition, over the past year Mr. Wilson has been responsible for a number of investments AppSense has made to the channel including increasing technical resources to support and assist pre- and post-sales work, increasing MDF availability to the channel to promote and increase their sales, producing best practice guides to help software implementation, and offering demos to potential customers.
