Junior Web Developer – ASP.net/C#

This is a full time role based in our offices in Warrington, UK.

Whilst a commercial track record of building websites and back-end interfaces would prove very beneficial to your application, what we are really keen to see is someone who is eager to learn on the job and develop new skills.

Required knowledge

  • MS SQL and Relational Databases

Preferred knowledge

  • XHTML/CSS
  • JavaScript
  • PHP

Familiarity with SalesForce CRM would be beneficial to your application.

Overall accountabilities

  • Supporting Snr Web Developer in web based applications and website development projects
  • Salesforce CRM integration and maintenance of integrated systems

Technical Relationship Manager

Division DACH - Presales

This full time role will either be based in the Munich office or from the postholder's home office (to be confirmed), and will involve travelling throughout the DACH territory. The postholder will report to the DACH PreSales Team Leader on a daily basis.

Required knowledge

  • Strong technical knowledge about the Microsoft Infrastructure, Terminal Services (incl. Citrix)
  • Technical knowledge about Citrix XenDesktop and VMWare View
  • Recommended: MCSE or MCTS , CCEA

Personal skills

  • Basic presentation skills
  • Team Player
  • German and English speaker

Experience prerequisites

  • Good understanding of enterprise customer, experience in managing account directly

Overall accountabilities

  • Technical support for major accounts in cooperation with the DACH Territory PreSales and the AppSense Certified Solution Partner (CSP)
  • Architecture work for the AppSense Products in the customer environment
  • Consulting work in cooperation with the CSP
  • Post Sales support for DACH major accounts in cooperation with AppSense Support Desk and CSP. This includes acting as primary point of contact and providing technical updates
  • Primary contact for the customer, the account list will be reviewed quarterly
  • Assisting in the escalation of support queries to the relevant channels

Junior PreSales

Division DACH – PreSales

This AppSense PreSales role will be predominantly based in the Munich office for webinars, with occasional travel in South Germany to support the PreSales process.

The postholder will report to the DACH PreSales Team Leader on a daily basis.

Required knowledge

Senior Software Tester

Division QA

This is a full time role based in our offices in Warrington, UK.

Taking ownership of a large area of a product the main duties of the Senior Software Tester will be:

  • Produce and maintain test plans for new and existing functionality
  • Write and execute manual tests based on functional specifications
  • Raising and tracking of detailed fault reports
  • Collaborate with development teams to define test specifications and plans
  • Perform detailed root-cause-analysis of software issues to support efficient and effective diagnosis and resolution
  • Provide assistance to the customer support team, in reproducing customer issues
  • Mentor junior team members

Required knowledge

  • At least a basic knowledge of SQL would be advantageous
  • Automated testing experience would be advantageous
  • Experience of performance testing in a Windows environment would be advantageous
  • Degree/HND in a technical discipline

Personal skills

  • Able to work in partnership with the wider team, drawing upon resource and sharing knowledge. Willing to contribute, and provides and seeks support from others to achieve team tasks
  • Able to work on own initiative

Experience prerequisites

  • At least 4 years commercial experience of software testing in a structured test environment
  • A good knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems. Ideally some knowledge of Citrix and terminal server environments
  • Experience of scripting language or programming language (e.g. VBScript/C++)
